Better than a guest book...

I wanted to find a better way of making the Contemplating August site interactive than the previous method of a "news" page and a guest book. So now comes the question of how to use a blog to best augment the site. So many possibilities, never enough time...

the writer, a cynic

A blank page
frightens me:
so many thoughts
so many ideas
I could put there --
Is it legal to put
such a weapon as this
in my hand?
Deep fears
dark dreams
confused radical thoughts
without shame:
I can write it,
there's room on this page
and my pencil, I think,
should last long enough
to offend.
